Lucca, Toscana
Stence Apartment is an elegant, recently renovated 90sqm apartment located on the 1st floor of an ancient monastery in the heart of the historic center, in the prestigious Via Fillungo, recommended street if you are looking for exclusive boutiques and high fashion boutiques. The apartment follows the style of the historic Tuscan noble apartments with exposed beams, embellished with a lively contemporary touch. From the first moments of your stay you will be wrapped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The environment is silent, fresh and bright throughout the day.
It is a pleasure to stroll through groomed displays that have kept the charm of the shops of a time. It also features antique jewelery, restaurants and wineries that offer dishes from typical cuisine to the more experimental and sought after cuisine ... here it is also nice to stop for a coffee or for a snack in some glimpse, with the background offered by street musicians . A few steps from the house you will find testimonies of the old walled walls, true and fair for the city of Lucca, the famous Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, built on the remains of an ancient Roman amphitheater and the beautiful Torre Guinigi with its secular holm oaks. Do not miss the opportunity to take a bicycle ride on the Historic Walls and its 11 bastions immersed in the greenery. Here you will be accompanied by sportsmen working with their daily corset and by families playing with their dog.
Large living room with Smart Tv and Free Wifi. Equipped kitchen and bedrooms with large wardrobe. Two bathrooms with shower. Balcony for a romantic dinner at two.

In the historic center the areas where you can park are limited but only 5 min. On foot you will find a parking fee; There is a very spacious and free outside the historic center, which however remains only 10 minutes walk from the apartment. The transport links are very close: less than 10 minutes from the railway station and only 5 minutes from the bus stop of Piazzale Verdi
Beautiful apartment and Francesca was a lovely reliable host. Perfect location with lovely things to see and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay again
We are in Italy for a month and had two nights in Lucca.
Location is excellent. We were able to walk to all parts of Lucca.
We absolutely loved everything about the apartment, but especially the location! Right in the Heart of Lucca! Stefano went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, which was a lot seeing as how our bags had been lost on the flight in! Cannot thank him enough! If you plan on staying in Lucca…this character filled, lovely apartment is a must!
We had 2 very nice nights in Lucca. The appartment is super central, check-in was very easy and flexibel and we got some good tips for our stay. Thanks a lot again!
I can’t speak highly enough of this apartment or the hosts. On our arrival, our party was delayed by about 5 hours, but Francesca was still able to meet us when we arrived. The apartment is a converted momentary, and the interior really is stunning. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms are lovely, and the whole apartment is light and airy. The kitchen has all the facilities you would need to prepare a meal (although we didn’t get around to it as the nearby restaurants are so good!). It’s very centrally located, and overlooks one of the main shopping streets, so everything you could want is on your doorstep. The only slight drawback is that no aircon means that had to have the windows open to stay cool, and the street nose can be quite loud until about 1am; and the street sweepers can give you an early wake up call! After the first night though, I slept straight through! I would definitely stay again and recommend!
The apartment was fantastic! Chic, elegant, GREAT location, very clean and comfy beds. The first floor means you are not on the ground floor. That is floor 0 in Italy. So we were surprised by the (eek) steps. But Stefano helped us both up and down with our suitcases and we older ladies were quite appreciative of that. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths in the main level. The second floor has (eek) more steps and the 2 twin beds. We also didn’t realize it didn’t have a/c but it is perfectly situated to not need it. If you close the western shutters to the patio, and open the windows that are shaded due to the narrow streets, you get a great cross breeze. The street noise to me was soothing like the sound of waves. But others were quite happy with the earplugs I brought. Stefano had a lovely welcome gift for us. Great host recommendations for everything from parking to dining. We had a great time!
