Awesome stay. Great space, and close to everything. This will be our go to place for all future Boston adventures.

    Excellent Boston Weekend

    5/5 Stayed Oct 1, 2017

We stayed at Longfellow Place Apartments for a girls' weekend and we could not have asked for a better place. The apartment is a very large 3 bedroom 2.5 bath with a large living room area, kitchen, and dining room. With a girls' weekend, there is almost never enough bathroom space for getting ready. However, the Longfellow Place Apartment provided more than enough space and the girls never had to step over each other while getting ready. No one should worry about having enough room in this apartment. The location is prime. We were within a 20 minute walk of almost every restaurant, tourist attraction, and bar we wanted to go to. We spent some time in the Back Bay area which was a very nice 30 minute walk through the Boston Common or a 5-10 minute drive depending on traffic. The apartment was on the 36th floor and the view was unparalleled. All windows looked out onto the city and there was a lovely patio. Stay Alfred was great to work with. I was able to make my reservation easily. They communicated very quickly and gave great instructions on what to do upon arrival and for check out. They even honored our request to check in early since our planes landed at 12:30 pm! I would recommend booking through Stay Alfred and staying at the Longfellow Place Apartments in Boston to anyone. Thanks for the fantastic stay.

Fantastic Thanksgiving famil holiday in Boston

    5/5 Stayed Nov 1, 2017

Our family members flew in from Florida and DC, and drove from CT for a holiday together in this fabulous 3 bedroom, 2+ bathroom, VERY roomy apt. in the West End, just 2-3 blocks from Fanueil Hall and the Boston Garden and North End. Very well equipped kitchen, lots of room for 3 very young children to play...a very nice gym which we used 3x, a complete playground within our building that we used every day!!! Loved the hotel rolling caddys to help with both move in and move out! There were several free parking spots right outside the building for our Thanksgiving guests to use and avoid the expensive garages in the neighborhood. Unbelievable views of Boston on 2 sides as this is a corner unit. We will most likely try to book this unit again--it was fabulous!

Great apartment great location, no hassle check in.... fantastic...thanks

Hands down this is the best place I have stayed with my group in Boston. I love the help I get in booking it as well as the service when you arrive. It's always so quiet and never too busy inside. The location is great to get around anywhere in Boston. It also has great views of Boston.

    Ideal family apartment

    5/5 Stayed Apr 1, 2018

The apartment is centrally located close to the TD Garden basketball and ice hockey arena. It has easy access to the underground system and in fact, once you get to know Boston, is in fairly easy walking distance of just about everywhere bar Harvard and the JFK Libray museum. The apartment itself was very large and easily accommodated the five adults staying here. It was well appointed with dishwasher and easy access to laundry facilities. Two and a half bathrooms (two bathrooms plus third toilet). Our apartment was on the 36th floor, so had fantastic views across the city. One small issue was dealt with most efficiently and within an hour of our query. Well done Stay Alfred. A great place, great location and thoroughly recommended.

    Nice stay but issues

    3/5 Stayed May 1, 2018

Overall a very nice apartment layout and a great location/view. Stocked with all needed items and rooms were plenty big. A few issues related to cleaning and follow up service. Floors were dirty including the carpets but especially the bathroom floors - they had hair on them. The MB ceiling had mold on it also and the second BR tub was in poor shape. A big key problem. Our keys were not in the apartment and it took a lot of our time/effort to resolve. Multiple phone calls, lots of time on hold. We finally got 1 key later that day (for 6 people) and did not get our second key until the next afternoon, almost 24 hours later. Never received an apology.... Customer service needs to improve.

    Big condo! Great Location

    4/5 Stayed May 1, 2018

The condo is great a great location close to North End, but since your are in Boston, it walking distance to most attractions. The pictures are completely accurate. The unit over all was clean and well maintained. It is very spacious. Lots of closet space and the all the rooms are a nice size. The appliances were all in good working order. There are beautiful parquet floors throughout. My only grips were with the bathrooms. They are what kept me from giving it 5 stars. Both the shower in master and the tub in the 2nd bathroom looked like they had been replaced some sort of retro fit shower and tub liner. They didn't look good and were in kind of rough shape. There are also no shelves in the master shower which meant soap and shampoo had to be kept on the floor of the shower. These items are a little nit-picky, I know. We never had to call for any maintenance issues, but the check in/check out procedure was clearly defined in an email from the manager and was smooth and care free. There is a CVS and Whole Foods a couple blocks away. We were there with our kids and the loved the condo. They are always happy when they get their own rooms. Overall we had a great stay and would stay there again.

    Great Views of Boston

The apt. Needs Air Condition fix in all 3 Bedrooms we expected cool air for the nights after walking 7 mi. + daily taking in all the History we could see and hear. We had our daughter and son-in law and 3 grandchildren that love History and National Parks. We visited Acadia before Boston. The apt. Was great for us, plenty of room even with us staying out all day. We just wanted COOL AIR at the end of the long HOT Days. The Views are beautiful on the 36 th floor. We enjoyed the quiet building and all the people we met were so friendly and helpful at the bldg. we had people to help us on the street also. Thanks Boston and Alfred—Our 1st visit...The note at the advertised Alfred on VRBO should note, washer $ dryer is NOT in the unit. Time is precious when on a stay, busy Adventure, taking in so much. The check in and check out is easy. We enjoy 3 bedroom & kitchen. We visited Utah last year and rented likes with easy check in & outs with VRBO’s We call them our Adventures. Thanks Alfred

This was our second stay with Stay Alfred. Our first stay was perfect! This stay was less than that. The a/c units in the bedroom would not cool the room. There was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. As for view and location, it could not be beat! But mold on the ceilings and lack of A/c meant my family could not get a good nights sleep. The entire apartment needs to updated. We will not stay at Longfellow again. We will gladly stay at the Garrison street units.
