Stayed Jan 16, 2026The host was very welcoming and receptive. The house was very nice with an amazing view of Sunday River. We travelled with a group of 6 and the house was very comfortable, and had plenty of room. We especially loved the location of the house. It was an easy drive, and very close to Sunday River.

Stayed Feb 28, 2025Beautiful stay at this lovely home overlooking the mountain. The photos are accurate and everything was comfortable. The kitchen could use a little updating as there weren’t great pots and pans etc. but we made do.

Stayed Feb 14, 2025Very well restored home (from late 1700's) in a great location. Lots of room to spread out. Wonderful views. I suspect it would be even better in the summer and fall for a family. Easy winter drive to the Jordan or South Ridge; truly 5 minutes.

Stayed Feb 16, 2024Fantastic stay at this property - very cozy home moments away from the slopes. Visited with a group of 12 and we all fit in very nicely. With only two bathrooms for that many people, we had to be very disciplined with toilet times, but otherwise it worked out ok. Wonderful kitchen dining room, great for hosting large meals and playing board games.

Stayed Mar 1, 2023Fabulous, as if we rented our own estate for the weekend! , best views around, we felt as if we were still at the mountain even though we were actually enjoying the view from the Mountain House! A cozy fire, plenty of room and lots of wildlife, just a gorgeous ski weekend. If there's an opening next year, we will be back!
