Concerts at Stratton, Okemo, summer theater at the Weston Playhouse (7 miles north) and many microbrewers to visit (and sample). In the fall our location is perfectly situated to take advantage of tree peeping season. Take a chair lift or gondola ride up Stratton or Bromley. The views are spectacular. For the shopper and Spa enthusiast Manchester is 15 min away where you’ll find great outlet stores and the Equinox Spa at the Inn at Equinox. So much to do and so little time-you’ll never be bored in Vermont!
Our family was in the area for a birthday celebration. This house's proximity to where others in the family were staying worked out very well. The house and property are very well maintained. As the chief cook, I especially appreciated the well equipped kitchen. I didn't get to do as much cooking as usual on family trips, but I certainly could have! If I were to make a recommendation, it would be to increase the number of available fans. Because of being fairly well shaded (with trees), despite very hot weather, the house stayed modestly cool. But there was only one fan to provide air circulation in the bedrooms at night. All in all, I strongly recommend this property to anyone staying in the area.
We loved the location. The bedroom s/bathrooms were clean. Dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. Front and back porches covered in pollen and leaves. Drive way covered in weeds. Many lights in the house were unplugged. We like the house a lot. Just needs polishing a bit.
Just perfect, really. 100% recommended.
A 5 minute drive to Magic Mountain made this place a dream! Full grocery store a few minutes away as well. Kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of pots, pans, baking dishes, muffin pans and even a crockpot. Martin was super helpful and easy to reach with questions. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely come back if we return to Magic for another ski trip.
This house is perfect for two families. This is our second time staying here and we will be back. I have even recommended it to other family members who like to ski in the area. The garage, large mud room and large storage area are added bonuses. I also appreciate the easy checkout process, which we did before skiing with no problem.
2 adults and 3 kids stayed for a long weekend of skiing and the accommodations including the kitchen stocked with every dish/utensil/pot, cozy pellet stove and laundry were all amazing. The oversized garage and mud room were welcomed benefits. We enjoyed our stay and will look for this home again next year. Thank you for allowing us to check in early.
Our stay in Londonderry was absolutely perfect. The home is cozy and has everything you could need. Location was perfect, easy access to Stratton and Bromley. Will absolutely stay again
We had a great stay! The house had everything we needed and was warm and cozy over a very cold weekend. Martin was responsive and answered our questions quickly. Great location for skiing. The house has a traditional style with updated bathrooms. We would stay here again!
The place worked great for our family. Needs some updating though!
The house is very charming and cute. Very clean and updated, and conveniently located near ski resorts, and restaurants.
This home is exactly as described with a well stocked kitchen. We stayed as a family with multiple kids for a ski trip and loved the space. Kids even enjoyed sleds in the back yard. Very close to a supermarket and easily accessible to multiple ski mountains. Would definitely return!
This property was prefect for our Family Christmas. The best parts were the location, just off rte 100 very close to downtown Londonderry, and the garage. It was raining and icy when my Mom arrived and she was able to pull directly in to the garage to unload. Our family had a wonderful time and we hope to go back there again.
A snow storm hit the area on our day of arrival which shortened our trip a bit. The owner and property manager were helpful and informative on road conditions. We arrived safely at a beautiful and charming farmhouse which was minutes from the ski mountain. The house was just as described and had a cozy feel. It was clean and spacious. Met all our needs. Definitely recommend and will stay again.
It was a great experience staying in a classic style house built in 1840, but wonderfully updated, well stocked and traditionally furnished. The town was also ideal being very quiet but with a great supermarket, butcher, hardware store and close to skiing. I would highly recommend staying here.
This is a beautiful home in a green location. Well stocked kitchen, beautiful deck, large dining room table…everything we needed. Highly recommend!
Very charming farm house. Central location and well equipped.
A lovely 4 season rental home! Space to spread out inside and also play outside. We enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen, crafting on the deck table and having coffee on the front porch. We enjoyed our stay so much my kids never even turned on the tv!
We really enjoyed coming back to this home. It is definitely a cut above in terms of the kitchen stocking, the decor, and general coziness. Great location for skiing. We got snow and someone came to plow the driveway like magic!
Very comfortable and large space, well stocked and a very communicative host. Highly recommend.
House was as described - comfortable, clean, plenty of room, kitchen had everything needed, pellet stove was nice to have & easy to use after a day of skiing. Location was an easy drive to Okemo. Martin is responsive - answered questions prior to our arrival and quickly during stay.
