A variety of recreational, social, and cultural programs can be found at Constitution Park, Pioneer Park, Oveta McKeithen Recreational Complex, and Highlands Community Center.

 

No visit to Deerfield Beach would be complete without stopping in at The Deerfield Beach Arboretum. Also known as the Tree Zoo, this popular tourist destination is a nine-acre arboretum and botanical garden. It contains more than 200 different species of trees and palms from around the world, with more than 50 different species of flowering trees.

 

Schools in Deerfield Beach are administered by the Broward County Public School District, the sixth largest in the nation and the second largest in the state of Florida. The district oversees 236 schools and 271,000 students.
