Background on Naples
Naples is a beautiful city that is located in Collier County, Florida. The population here as of 2015 was just shy of 21,000. Naples is the principal city of the Naples – Marco Island, Florida Metro area. This metro area has a population of around 323,000 people. Naples is located in Southwest Florida on U.S. Highway 41. Miami is to the East and Fort Myers is to the North. Naples is approximately 16.4 square miles. Around 4 square miles of that is water. Naples is also one of the wealthiest cities in all of the United States. The town was incorporated back in 1925 and then in May of 1949 the city became incorporated. Naples economy is funded mostly by tourism. Ecotourists also love this area because of its close proximity to the Everglades and Ten Thousand Islands.

Climate in Naples
Naples climate is what is known as a tropical savanna climate. The summers here are hot and often times very wet. The winter months are typically very warm and dry making this the perfect place to vacation during the winter months. Naples also experiences around 300 sunny days a year.

Economy in Naples
The three largest companies that can be found in Naples are Alavista Solutions, Beasley Broadcast Group and ASG Technologies. There are also countless small businesses here that help boost the local economy as well as several non profit organizations.

Education in Naples
The District School Board of Collier County is the main school district here in Naples. There are also several private schools and institutions here as well. There are fifteen public elementary schools and three private. There are nine public schools as well as three private ones. When it comes to high schools there are seven public and three private.

Beaches in Naples
The beach in Naples is on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. This beach is more than ten miles long and is extremely clean and has some of the whitest sand you will ever see. The Travel Channel named Naples as having one of the best beaches in America back in 2005. There are also several other beaches in the Naples area for you to check out. There is the Clam Pass – Beach Park, Delnor – Wiggins Pass State Park, Lowdermilk Beach Park, Vanderbilt Beach, Seagate Beach and the North Gulfshore Boulevard Beach just to name a few.

Things to do in Naples
There are plenty of things to do here in Naples if you are looking to get out and explore a little. You can take a trip to Third Street South which is referred to as the birthplace of Naples. This area features plenty of shops, restaurants and bistros. The landscape here is simply amazing. You can also head over to Lowdermilk Park. This beachfront park has it all if you are looking for outdoor activities to enjoy with family and friends. This park has sand volleyball courts, playgrounds, picnic tables and a view of the Gulf of Mexico that is picture perfect. If you are looking to get married in Naples and want a beach wedding then look no further. At Lowdermilk Park you can rent one of their beautiful gazebos and have your wedding right on the beach. Naples Pier is another amazing place to check out if you are into sightseeing. This pier can be found on the Gulf at the West end of 12th Avenue South. Here you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico and take as many photos as you would like. If you get hungry there is a concession stand with a covered eating area for you to enjoy your food in.
