Cave Creek is in Maricopa County, Arizona. It is within close proximity to Phoenix. According to the 2010 census the population here at that time was 5,015. There have been times when frost forms on cars and grass in the early winter mornings but it usually melts by the time the sun has come up. This school system is the fifth largest school district in all of Arizona. It serves not only Phoenix but also Glendale, Peoria, Anthem, New River and many other unincorporated areas of Northwest Maricopa County.
