This park falls within the city limits of Bonita Springs. It is North of Bonita Beach but uses a different zip code. There are so many things you can do here besides just soaking up the sun. You can do things like swim, canoe, kayak, hike, bike and picnic. There is also an area for you to do some wildlife viewing. Fun fact about Lovers Key State Park, this island was once so remote that the only people that would seek it out were lovers because of the privacy the island offered. Fast forward to today and the island is extremely easy to access, and you don’t even need a lover to visit this beach.
-Dog Park Beach – If you’re looking to include your pets in your beach fun then head on over to Dog Park Beach. Parking is always free but make sure to clean up after your pets to help keep this beach clean and safe for other animals.
