Events and Things to do in Dallas

You can take a trip to the Dallas Zoo which was established back in 1888 and is more than 106 acres in size. This zoo features more than 406 different kinds of specials for a total of more than 2,000 animals. The zoo is managed by the Dallas Zoological Society. You can also visit The Dallas Museum of Art which is better known as DMA. This museum is located in the Arts District which is in the downtown section of Dallas. This museum is more than 159,000 square feet and has more than 24,000 pieces of art for you to view. This museum is actually one of the largest art exhibits and museum’s in the entire United States.
Sports in Dallas
Dallas is home to seven major league sports teams. In the NFL there is the Dallas Cowboys, the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks, the MLB’s Texas Rangers, the NHL’s Dallas Stars, FC Dallas which is the Major League Soccer team for Dallas. There is also the Dallas Wings which is the Woman’s Nationals Basketballs Association and finally the Dallas Rattlers which is Dallas’ Major League Lacrosse team. Between these seven teams there is always an event going on here in Dallas. You can catch a Cowboys game at the AT&T Stadium located in Arlington, Texas which is just twenty miles west of Downtown Dallas.
