Location, Location, Location. This Worldmark unit is not currently available. It may be September11th to 16th and September 19th to the 30th. Minimum rental will be five days. Maximum rental is ten days. The condo is a one bedroom, two room suite, with partial kitchen, and two full baths. It is in the historic 1920's Hotel Julian is in the heart of downtown San Francisco. Remodeled into Condos in early 2000's. It is being remodeled, with all new furnishing, and reopening May 31, 2021. Starting June 1st, there will be a concierge and staff available for question.. Air conditioning.in San Francisco is not common, each Worldmark unit has its own air conditioning (important in this current heat wave).. brbrWorldmark is above the Stockton Street tunnel which reduce street noise, one block east of Powell Street Cable Cars, one block west of Grant Street's main entrance to Chinatown, steps away from San Francisco's MUNI bus system. The MUNI #30 bus is steps away and runs about every 10 minutes through Chinatown, Little Italy, North Beach night club area, French Quarter, Ghirardelli Square, one block from the National Maritime, National Park with the Hyde Street Pier with historic ships, and Fisherman Wharf. At the same bus stop as the #30 at the entrance to the Stockton Street Tunnel , the #24 bus, goes to the West of Van Ness Shopping and Restraint District. It is a short walk or you can ride the #30 or #24 bus down to Market Street, to connect to buses, cable cars, and historic street cars to all other San Francisco sites. It is a two block walk to Union Square and half price theater tickets, to theaters, restaurants for dinner before the theater, galleries, and museums. More information is available from the concierge at 415-248-2800.. brbrIf you drive, the Sutter-Stockton Street garage is located across the street. from the Condo. Additional lower cost long term parking is located on Van Ness Street but it is a ways from the Condo. A car is not needed in San Francisco. The MUNI is one for the best and cleanest public transportation system in the U.S.. If you fly to San Francisco or Oakland, ride BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) to Market Street and get off at Montgomery Street.. While it is a short walk up Nob Hill to Worldmark, I recommend a taxi to the condo if you have luggage. AMTRAC is another way to get to San Francisco, it included shuttle bus to the Ferry Building and Pier 39. Then short taxi ride or catch br a Market Street trolley ride to the #30 bus.to the Condo.brbrThe #30 bus is famous for site seeing. Early in the morning it will be full of Chinese students going to school. If it is full, catch any bus going through the tunnel, get off in China town, and catch the #30 form there. Many students will all get off the bus at the first China town stop and the bus will be almost empty. The other option is to walk through the Stockton Tunnel and catch the bus at the first Chinatown stop.brbrFor breakfast we like Lorri's 50's Dinner either on Powell Street one block down, or at Ghirardelli Square. For lunch a sour dough bread bowl filled with clam chowder at fisherman's wharf.brbrOn site concierge to answer question.brbrSept is best month to visit San Francisco, the wheatear is more temperate than any other month.brbrIf you want to ride the cable car, ride the Hyde Street Car. It is the most scenic. It is worth waiting for it. The Manson Street car is a wasted adventure. .
