Clearwater Florida is a city in Pinellas County on Florida’s Gulf coast. Getting around Clearwater is affordable and easy when you use the Clearwater Jolly Trolley. More than just a tourist attraction, the trolley is an excellent means of public transportation to take you all around the city.
Schools
The Pinellas County School District prides itself on its progressive and holistic approach to education. According to County School Superintendent Michael A. Grego, Ed.D, the school system provides “…a wealth of educational choices, including more than 60 application programs suited to students’ interests, talents and abilities. We offer career-focused programs and award-winning arts and music programs that prepare students to be well-rounded citizens. We also have launched several new programs, and we continue to add exciting and innovative programs based on feedback from our families.”
The local school system has also put in a concerted effort to increase the number of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Academies at the schools to “… better prepare students for the global demands of the 21st century.”
