Roswell has received national recognition for its public park system which includes eight public parks covering more than 900 acres of land. Their municipal park system includes two multi-use park trails, the Allen Brook Trail and the Willeo Trail. The more popular parks include East Roswell Park which features a lake, and Grimes Bridge Park which has gaming and recreation facilities. Roswell Area Park features a pond, Olympic size pool, visual arts center, baseball field, playground, and walking trail.

 

The cultural hub of the city is the Roswell Cultural Arts Center, an impressive multi-use facility which draws in patrons all year-round. The center host events such as the Southern Circuit Film Tour which shows independent films from all over, stage productions from the Georgia Ensemble Theatre as well as a Visual Artist Spotlight Series.

 

Schools in Roswell are administered by the Fulton County School System, one of the largest school district in the nation with an enrollment of more than 94,000 students. Some of the higher rated schools in Roswell are Hembree Springs Elementary School, Northwood Elementary School, Crabapple Middle School, and Roswell High School.
