Royal Palm Beach Acreage is an area along the western boundary of West Palm Beach in Palm Beach County, Florida. Before then, the former hunting ground for the Seminole people had been an uninhabited swamp and natural preserve. It is today part of a larger community considered an awesome place to buy property in South Florida.
In spite of its proximity to more developed areas, Royal Palm Beach Acreage has maintained its rural characteristics. It has massive home site lots and numerous wooded areas. The average lot size here is 1.25 acres. Horses, an equestrian lifestyle and small barns are common in Royal Palm Beach. The larger lots afford owners with the ability to add separate workshops or gardens to their lots. The line between urban and suburban is hard to recognize in some parts, however. This subdivision is largely a residential community. A very high proportion of the local home inventory is constituted by single-family homes. But there are also condos, villas and townhouses. Residents get access to decent education here despite the somewhat rural nature. In fact, some of the public schools in the Royal Palm Beach area are highly-rated. Public education is administered by the School District of Palm Beach County.
