Doral is a municipality in Miami-Dade County and one of the notable communities in the state of Florida. Its name is derived from the combination of the first letters in the names of the real estate pioneers. Doral is bordered by Medley to the north, Sweetwater to the south, and the Ronald Reagan Turnpike to the west. It is situated in the proximity of Miami International Airport and just about 12 miles from Downtown Miami.
