Due to its close proximity to Green Hill Pond (salt pond) near Charlestown Beach it is still ideal as a summer vacation/rental home.

Pergo floors are in all rooms except the bath/laundry (linoleum tile). Pergo floors are known for easy maintenance (clean with water and a mop).
Central forced air heat comes from an oil fired furnace below the single story home.

The owner of this home is entitled to membership in the Ocean Ridge Civic Association (ORCA) ($55 per year). This organization provides social activities, access to the Green Hill Pond beach area (500 yard walk). Kayak/canoe storage racks, power boat dock and two boat launch ramps.
One can also bike to an excellent bakery, excellent restaurant and the Charlestown Town Beach (no parking problems).
In summary, with the above home improvements this property requires very little maintenance (Vinyl siding, PVC windows, small yard etc.) If you are looking for a vacation home you are probably not looking for a place where you can go to scrape, sand and paint!
